The City of Pittsburg has adopted the following policies related to Transportation to keep motorized & non-motorized citizens safe: 

The following policies pertain to our City's Parking Programs and Parking Enforcement. They can be found in the City's Municipal Code, or through the following links below:

To transport wide or oversized loads on City streets, a permit is required. The City of Pittsburg has delineated a specific Truck Route Policy meant to keep citizens safe. To see the Policy click the following link:

The purpose of this policy is to provide a consistent method of granting “Keep Clear” pavement marking requests in the City of Pittsburg. It is the intent of the city to limit the number of “Keep Clear” markings in the city and at the same time, keep traffic flow efficient. For more information on this policy, click on the link below.

Non-motorized road users also have responsibilities to ensure everyone's safety. The City of Pittsburg summarizes these responsibilities through the Pedestrian and Bicycle Policy shown below.
