The Engineering Division is responsible for the management of capital improvement projects for the City of Pittsburg. The majority of these projects are identified in the DRAFT City’s 2025/26 to 2029/30 Five Year Capital Improvement Program ((5-Year Capital Improvement Program). Project management responsibilities include project design, design consultant selection, design consultant management, permit coordination, project bid coordination, preparation of bid documents, construction management, and other tasks as required for construction of capital improvement projects.
