The City of Pittsburg General Municipal Election will be held on November 3, 2026, to fill three (3) seats on the City Council, as well as one (1) City Clerk seat and one (1) City Treasurer seat. Terms are for four (4) years.
The nomination period for the November 3, 2026 election opened on July 13, 2026 and will close on Friday August 7, 2026. If an incumbent does not file by August 7, 2026, the nomination period will extend to Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
Nomination papers can be obtained at City Hall with the City Clerk's Office, 65 Civic Avenue during the following hours:
