Pittsburg Turns Up the Flavor with First-Ever "Restaurant Week"

A weeklong celebration of local flavor, culture, and community.

Pittsburg, California – The City of Pittsburg is proud to announce, “Restaurant Week,” taking place May 18–24, a citywide celebration of the vibrant culinary scene that continues to put Pittsburg on the map.

Driven by the City in partnership with the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce and local social media influencer Keara Caranto (known to her followers as @justmostie), Restaurant Week will showcase a wide range of Pittsburg’s restaurants, from beloved local staples to exciting new dining destinations.

Pittsburg Restaurant Week is a celebration of the diversity, talent, and entrepreneurial spirit that define our local restaurant community,” said Pittsburg Mayor Dionne Adams. “Our restaurants help make Pittsburg a vibrant and welcoming place to live, work, and visit. This event is an opportunity to support our small businesses, enjoy the outstanding food they offer, and showcase the pride we have in our great city.

Participating restaurants will offer a mix of special menu items and exclusive deals throughout the week, giving residents and visitors the perfect opportunity to explore everything Pittsburg has to offer. Diners visiting participating restaurants can also complete enter into a raffle to win one of several prizes, including gift cards to their favorite Pittsburg restaurant and tickets to shows at Pittsburg’s historic California Theater, by completing a punch card available online or at participating restaurants.

“We’re excited to be a part of this event and shine a spotlight on Pittsburg’s incredible restaurants,” said Wolfgang Croskey, CEO of the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce. “This is not only a celebration of food, but an opportunity to support our local businesses, drive foot traffic, and continue building a strong, connected business community.”

Those looking to learn more can visit www.pittsburgca.gov/restaurant to see participating restaurants and view special offers. Local restaurants interested in participating may sign up by Monday, May 11th.
