NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Pittsburg will conduct a public hearing in the City Council Chamber at City Hall on March 25, 2025, at 7:00 PM concerting the following item(s):

BLUE Sports Bar & Lounge, AP-25-0007 (UP)

Project Description: This is a public hearing on a request for approval of a Use Permit to establish a Full-Service Restaurant with Alcohol Sales and Live Entertainment within an existing 2,400-square-foot structure located at 337 Railroad Avenue in the Pedestrian Commercial (CP) District. Assessor’s Parcel Number: 085-108-016.

Environmental Determination: The proposed project is categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Class 1, “Existing Facilities,” of the CEQA Guidelines, section 15301. The proposed project qualifies for a Class 1 categorical exemption because the project site is an existing, private structure and the applicant is not proposing any expansion of the existing structure. Therefore, the proposed project will not have a significant effect on the environment and is exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
